BlueArk, a technology site which is still under construction, specialises in engineering sciences.
It offers support to innovative projects and companies within the area of energy, offering them a superb network of knowledge and know-how which draws together major industries, energy producers and research organisations.
This technology site is oriented towards the diversification of renewable energy sources, and in particular towards increasing the production of water power. It supports projects promoting the overall energy efficiency of companies and researches solutions to develop the microstorage of energy.
BlueArk’s location at Visp, in a canton which generates 25% of the hydroelectricity consumed in Switzerland, is entirely appropriate. The site is an expression of the canton’s aim of making energy one of the priority areas in its development.
